in the midst of controversy this week after fans accused her of
masquerading a ring she already owned as a new engagement sparkler.

the show's season finale this Tuesday, Maria's beau Carlos Vannini
popped the question to a thrilled Maria, presenting her with a sizable
diamond ring.
