'Marrying famous men was mistake' Billie Piper pines for her first love – a scaffolder

Billie Piper

In what could be perceived as a thinly veiled swipe at her celebrity ex husbands, presenter Chris Evans, 51, and actor Laurence Fox, 39, she harbours regrets at not having wed her first love - a scaffolder from Swindon.
"I often think about what would've happened if we were still together," says Billie, who split from first husband Chris in 2007 and ended her eight-year marriage to Laurence - with whom she has two sons - in 2016.

We would probably have had at least a 30-year relationship."
However, while the Secret Diary Of A Call Girl star, 34, didn't climb back up the scaffolding to rekindle her romance, she has recently revealed her current love is little-known musician Johnny Lloyd from US rock band Mystery Jets.

Reflecting on her career she adds: "It feels like you have to be fully established by your 30s.
"But now the world's not interested because you're not 20 any more.
"I'm supposed to have this, this and this, I'm supposed to be successful and business savvy and coquettish and making cash and well-read and I'm supposed to be on top of all of these things because it's my time."

Swift settlement to help other victims

Taylor Swift has announced she'll be making a number of donations to charities for victims of sexual assault after wining a case against a former radio host.
The singer accused David Mueller of groping her at an event in June 2013 and after an appropriately swift deliberation a jury ordered she be compensated $1 (77p).
The 26-year-old, who'd asked for the token amount, said in a statement: "I acknowledge the privilege that I benefit from in life, in society and in my ability to shoulder the enormous cost of defending myself in a trial like this...
"Therefore I will be making donations in the near future to multiple organisations that help sexual assault victims defend themselves."
The man had sued the star, her mother Andrea and radio promotions director Frank Bell in 2015, accusing them of getting him fired from his £115,000-year contract as a local morning radio DJ.
Neither Andrea or Frank were found liable.

Salma Hayek on Samuel L

Salma Hayek relished her role in new film The Hitman's Bodyguard because she got to swear like a trooper.
The actress, 50, plays Sonia Kincaid, the wife of Samuel L Jackson's hitman character and even hopes there'll be a sequel so she can reprise her potty-mouthed part.
"I loved it - this is the dirtiest my mouth has ever been in a film."
And she clearly enjoyed being given the chance to have such a creative input on her character: "One of the film's executives is somebody I've worked with many times.
"He said, 'I have a character that only has a couple of scenes but the whole film revolves around her. We need someone who is unforgettable.'
"He invited me to be involved in creating the character. She was originally Irish."
Salma O'Hayek has a certain ring to it.

Louis Tomlinson was given a telling off from Simon Cowell
One Directioner Louis Tomlinson was given a telling off from Simon Cowell, 57, after getting drunk before one of the group's early gigs.
The 25-year-old recalls the time when he was 18 - only just able to enjoy a tipple legally - and got a bit carried away on the sauce until the music mogul offered some sage advice.
"I thought well I'll just have a couple of beers and I ended up being really, really drunk on this show - one of the first things [One Direction] did," says Louis.
"I woke up to a text to find out that I was going to LA the next morning - flown out. I landed at Simon's and he gave me a little dressing down."
But he believes had it not happened they wouldn't have such a good relationship today: "If I hadn't have had that chat with Simon then I don't think we'd be as close as we are now."
